What are we will to do!

2 Chronicles 7:14

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

God expects things from us. If we are wanting things from God. In this verse, God tells us four things that we as his people need to do.

Humbling ourselves is not easy, but it is necessary to see God move in our lives. God doesn't like a proud look.

Praying is our direct connection to the Son, which connects us to the Father. The Bible says for us to draw nigh unto him. If we don't talk to him, we are not drawing nigh. Praying is one of the most important things we can do. It helps keep our relationship unified.

Seeking his face. We have to seek the greatness of God. Moses wanted to see him but God would not allow it because he would die. Maybe we can't look upon him here but that doesn't mean that we don't fight to see it over there.

And this being the last request, that we turn from our wicked ways. The flesh is wicked and is always trying to return to its wickedness. But through Christ, we can resist the temptation. We are not to live as the wicked but we are separate people. We should act differently them the rest of the world.

With these four things, we can know that if we do them God will hear from heaven and will forgive our sins and heal our land. Let us continue to seek God.
