Sometimes the enemy is bigger then US

1 Samuel 17:4-7 KJV

And there went out a champion out of the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath, of Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span. [5] And he had an helmet of brass upon his head, and he was armed with a coat of mail; and the weight of the coat was five thousand shekels of brass. [6] And he had greaves of brass upon his legs, and a target of brass between his shoulders. [7] And the staff of his spear was like a weaver's beam; and his spear's head weighed six hundred shekels of iron: and one bearing a shield went before him.

The description of Goliath show that he was a giant a mighty man, a man of war, he was a champion in the Philistines' eyes. and as the Israelites looked at him they had fear. Sometimes in our life we come up against enemies that are bigger than us. Life brings great mountains in our lives that we can't climb over. Obstacles that we can't overcome. but just as David said. 1 Samuel 17:37 KJV

David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.

David didn't fear the enemy, he knew the Lord was on his side. He had seen the Lord deliver him from the lion and the bear. He knew that the Lord could deliver this giant.

Now everyone else had their weapon. But David chose a sling and five smooth stones. He wasn't putting his faith in the sling or the stones, but he was putting his faith in the Lord. When we realize we can't overcome the enemy alone, we will find more victories. Put your trust in the Lord because he is bigger than any enemy you have.
