Psalm 100:1-5 KJV
Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. [2] Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. [3] Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. [4] Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. [5] For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
During November we celebrate the holiday of Thanksgiving. I believe that God wants us to be thankful. It's important to remember what he has done for us. Jesus healed ten of leprosy but only one returned to praise him for doing it. And Jesus asked where the other nine were. We need to praise him for the things he has done and the things that he is going to do. We don't want to be the other nine who forgot to thank him. I believe if we were to sit down and write down all the things that God has done in one month for us, I believe the list would be long. But then let's look at the list and think, did I thank the Lord for all of them? We don't need to forget.
