So much Love!

John 15:13 KJV

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

As I listen to that old hymn, the Love of God. And the word that is written in that song. It makes my heart swell. To think that God would love me. To think of the great love that he has for everyone. His love passes all of man's understanding. I mean there is not enough ink in the world to fully tell us about the love that he has for us. When we were in our mother's womb, he knew us and who we would be. But yet still showed us the greatest love. He endured the cross, despising the shame. Taking our sin and hanging it on the cross. A death that I should have paid. But he paid it for us. There is no greater love than that.
